2-21 Jamie's Tweety Birthday

I free handed this Tweety bird for my niece Jamie. She is a big kid ( in her 30s) and still loves Tweety.

I'll keep practicing! It is easier to draw a character then doing it with frosting!

 

2-21 Dakotta #12 Hockey

My Grandson Dakotta is a hockey nut. We wanted to take cupcakes to school but because of Covid the school doesn't allow cupcakes that are baked at home.  I ordered these cupcakes from a friend that works at Sam's Club. I made small NHL hockey pucks from fondant and applied them before I delivered the cupcakes.  The Birthday cake is a layer cake with a Pittsburgh Penguin Logo. It is not too easy to duplicate logos like this that are detailed so I use a printed picture that is laminated. The kids like to remove the pictures and keep them in their memory books.

My grandson likes bikes and skate boards so I made him on a bike.

 

12-20 Becky's mountains

Happy Birthday for Becky's son-in-law. 

She is trying to convince him to move to Montana - hence  "the mountains are calling!'

 

10-20 Bike birthday

  Ron is a 60 year old bike riding lawyer that is a big Griz fan so we got a little of each into this cake. the cake is Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting - a great fall treat!

9-20 Beau & Brayden Comic car birthday

 

The little fella up top was my nephew Lee in 1983 - his 1st Birthday. Today I did cakes for his 2 sons Beau and Brayden ( 6 & 11). Pretty cool and you can see the detail has improved in 37 years!

A chocolate cake for Joe. We added some inexpensive tractor toys. The dirt is crushed up graham crackers.

  We did a Lumberjack - bear themed cake for Aayden's #1 birthday. Plastic trees and a bear figure cut from fondant.

My daughter wanted a fun bright pretty Unicorn cake for her friend Whitney.

Fondant horn and flowers. Yellow buttercream roses and Marshmallow ears.

A slight goof. I wrote Summer ( her other friend) on the cake board. That was easy to fix

7-20 Burgess reunion

Reunion for the Burgess family in MT - they wanted something a little western.

Grandson Chilo said he wanted a red soccer ball cake for his 6th Birthday. 

So I attempted Soccer balls. Those hexagon patterns are harder then they look
