Boy scout twinkie camp out cake
5 boys from our church turned 14 this week so there was a big birthday party. Mom asked me to do a scouting, woodsy type cake. I saw this idea using Twinkies for sleeping bags and made each of the boys a camper. Fondant accents of shoes by the sleep bags, and fire circle and scriptures. Pretzels for the fire wood and boat dock on the lake and flag for the scouts and candy fish, cat tails by the lake.
This cake was 24'x 18' ( full sheet)

Bill's 90th birthday cake 2015
Bill's daughter found my name on the internet. She called from Florida and asked if I could do a nice cake for her dad's 90th birthday in Great Falls. Bill has 10 kids and none of them could make it home for his birthday and he loves fishing. I made this 2 layer cake with butter cream frosting and 10 cupcakes. There is a pink or blue fish on each cupcake to represent his 10 children and one big pick fish for Mamma! I made the fisherman and fish from fondant. Bill was a delight - he asked what was the 90 - the speed limit!

Jodi chose this heart shaped two layer wedding cake.
Originally she was just going to set the cake on the table but she found a bargain on the pillars so we added the fountain under the cake. A small wedding with a small cake but we made it as big and special as her special day! We couldn't find the edible heart shaped candies so we used silver charms from the craft dept and just removed them before the cake was served.

I printed the picture of the tiger face on paper and laminated it.

Last year I did a wedding cake for these kids. They didn't think they wanted to save the top layer of the wedding cake for a year so I made them an Anniversary cake just like their Original cake.

Molly called from Denver. She has seen my name on the internet and wanted a Graduation cake for her sister the nurse. Family was proud of her accomplishment so they wanted something unique. The frosting was butter cream with Fondant accents - band-aides, syringe, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, Prescription bottle with pills, scissors. Time consuming to make but fun!

My son turned 36 this year. He owns a paintball field so I decided to do his cake in paintball and camo. I was only going to make one cake but he asked for a second cake to take to work - " so the people at work would know what a good cake tasted like!" Aww he's a good kid!
