Magic cards cake 6-15

Grandson Camryn said he wanted a "Magic" ( card game) - Ice cream cake. SO this is my interpretation of a Magic card. Ice cream cakes are hard to do because I don't have one of those flash freezers like DQ has. You can only work on it about 5-6 minutes before it is melting and sliding off the plate - so you have to put it back in the freezer and wait another couple hours before you can work on it again.

5-15 Batman & Spiderman cupcakes

Grandson's like Spider-man and Batman 

so we made 50 cupcakes for their party in the park with a lot of kids.

Sunkist & Xbox cake 6/15

Another cake from the weekend. A Sunkist Orange soda and an Xbox is what keeps Michael busy so we made this birthday surprise for him. I don't like black frosting because it makes peoples mouth turn black but there is only one color of Xbox. The cake is chocolate and the controller is made of Rice Krispy treat covered with fondant. The mug has Reese's pieces in it with a cupcake on top, frosting for the foamy head and an orange candy stick to make it look like the soda is pouring out of the can. The can is real ( I couldn't duplicate that!)
