Kaden & Max Birthday

It was Kaden's 8th birthday. I didn't think boys would like roses but it was short notice and I have lots of white roses to use up. Kaden loved it -  his last name is Rose!

The other cake I made up to use up more roses. When I found out it was Max's birthday I gave it to him - he was surprised that I made a cake for him. The hazards of making cakes - sometime you have extra cake and frosting and so you have to do something to use it up and not let it go to waste. My friends and co-workers don't mind helping me get rid of leftovers!

BATMAN

Cyrus lives in Canada. His family came to Montana for vacation during his birthday. His mom believes in Homemade birthday cake to show your kids that you love them. However this is difficult to do when you are traveling. She called and asked if I could do a Superhero birthday cake for Cyrus's #2 birthday - Batman being his favorite.  So I did this super hero birthday cake. She later e-mailed to tell me that when he was asked what his favorite part of vacation was he said " the batman cake!"   Score!!!!
