Silverback gorilla birthday cake - Bryan S 12-16

Bryan's nickname is Silverback so we wanted to back him a Silverback Gorilla birthday cake.

The Gorilla is done with fondant. Buttercream frosting with Green fondant leaves for accents.

Blue Camo cake 10-16

A blue cake with edible camo was the color choice for this gals birthday cake. Her Mother added the glitter streamers and the tiara for extra bling!

Sushi cake 11-16

This gal like Japanese things and Sushi so I did this sushi cake. All the accent pieces are made of fondant. i put frosting on the white areas and rolled them in cooked rice to make them look like real sushi. The black on the front are the Japanese letters ( kanji) for Happy Birthday.

Erica and Brandon had found a cake that reflected their "gamer" interests but decided just to go with a 2 layer simple wedding cake because they didn't need a lot of cake and were wanting to keep costs down.  So we decided to make Brandon a Super Mario grooms cake to suprise him.

Fish Grooms cake 8-16

The groom is a biologist that is studying trout in Glacier park. So mom wants to have his grooms cake look like the fish he is studying. I made the fish form out of Rice Krispie treat and covered it with fondant. The rocks on the bottom are fondant also.

Musical Wedding anniversary cake - McKamey 50th

 

This is a cake for a 50th Anniversary - front side on left and back side on right. 

The bride is an excellent musician and the kids wanted to have the music note on the back of the cake as a surprise for them. The music notes are done on an edible piece of sugar paper. Silk flowers and burlap ribbon and raffia were the accents on this cake. 

Hearts Wedding cakes Jamie 7-16

My niece Jamie want a cake that would bring her colors of Teal and Purple together. This cake design works for Wedding or large Birthday gatherings to feed about 125 people. Jamie silk flowers and ribbons to match made this a very simple awesome cake. This cake is easy to transport and easy to cut. It allows us to have a couple different flavors of cake and be able to serve them at the same time.

Sue's mom 90th Birthday cake 7-16

Sue's mom is 90 this year so they had a nice party for her. The gold cake topper inspired Sue to work with gold trim and Grama likes pink. Gold ribbon with Edible gold beads make great accents

Western wedding cake -Tesla 7-16

 This is the cake I did for my niece Tesla - It is similar to the one I did in 2013 for Kelli. We used Kelli's boots and base. The cake has 14 mixes in it - 2 red velvet layers and 2 white layers. I baked the cakes on Friday and prepared them to travel. Saturday morning I drove 30 mile ( 16 gravel road) to the Arrow Peak Lodge in the Highwood mountains. I decorated the cake there in the kitchen for the lodge. Spent the day with Friends and family celebrating an awesome day. There is a lace with brown roses around the base of the cake and 2 rows of bronze beads around the other layers. The cake topper is heavy pewter so I had to reinforce the top layer for the top to stand on.

Blink birthday cake 7-16

Not sure who Blink 182 is but they asked me to do this birthday cake to  look like the album cover in the picture. I think I did pretty good.

Ken is car buff so we wanted to do a car cake for his grooms cake. The wedding cake has their blue and silver with hearts incorporated.

Katie's daughter-in-law like elephants so we did this pink polka dot cake with an Elephant and a balloon on it.

Ashley & Cj were going with Purple and Tangerine for their wedding colors. She liked the cakes that were square & off set. After looking at my picture book they decided they wanted a fountain. The silk flowers and silver edible beads made this a really nice design for their personalized cake. 6-2016

Choteau baby shower - tiger stripe

My daughter wanted a baby shower cake for a friend. They wanted baby skulls on it. 

The picture she brought was 2 layers, one with dot and the other with stripes.  

The 2 layer cake was way more cake then they needed so I  did this square cake.  

I tried to get the same effect with the two different patterns. 

The black  accents are fondant on butter cream frosting,

 with a black bow and small baby skull.

Jenn Blue cake with brown lattice 6-2016

 A blue cake with chocolate lace work accents and silk daisies for my daughter-in-laws birthday.

 She like purple but I had lots of blue left from the FFA cake.

CINDY FFA GRADUATION cake 2016

Cindy's daughter Sam graduated from CMR June 2016. Sam was really into her FFA program so we did this FFA cake with chocolate frosting and Blue butter cream western look. Yellow accents and silver beads with real yellow flowers. The cowboy boots made a cute accent.

Grama called from Belgrade and wanted a third birthday cake for Lillie. Lillie likes Mini Mouse. I had made Lillie's 1st Birthday cake so Grama called me again.

I nice simple baby shower cake. The cake is petal shaped and there is a baby figurine in the center of the flowers in the middle, with Plastic baby bottle and Rattles scattered around the cake.

Tiger cake - Tonya 2016

My Daughter likes  "better then anything cake" so we did this simple dessert cake with her favorite - white tigers,  made out of fondant. I did the tiger figurine and my granddaughter made her mom the white tiger face. The tigers are a bit lame but she liked them anyway!

Photo images cake - Dad's 80th Birthday 2016

Dad's 80th birthdaycake. I made this 2 layer cake with edible images of dad and family. The edible images are a little spendy but dad only turns 80 once.  The cake only feeds about 30 people and I would have to charge about $70 if I were to make it to sell.

Dave's pigs cake 4-16

My son likes pigs so this was a fun cake that I recreated from a picture that I found. Choc cake with Kit Kat bars around the outside for the fence. The candy was the expensive part! Too fun!
